JNTUK – As per the directions of Government of A.P. Constitutent and affiliated colleges under JNTUK Kakinada remain closed from 19-03-2020 to 31-03-2020, in view of Corona pandemic.

The Government of Andhra Pradesh, vide G.O. cited, issued instructions to Prevent and Contain Spread of COVID-19 in the State of Andhra Pradesh. It is further ordered that all Educational, Training, Coaching (Schools/Colleges/Universities) Institutions shall be closed with immediate effect up to 31.03.2020.

In this regard, JNTUK declare holidays up to 31.03.2020 for all the constituent Colleges/Units and affiliated colleges. The constituent Colleges/Hostels/Library and all other Offices/Units shall remain closed with immediate effect up to 31.03.2020.

All the examinations of constituent and affiliated colleges scheduled to be held during 19.03.2020 to 31.03.2020 is postponed and revised schedule will be notified later.

The Directors/Principals are requested to see that the Students and Research Scholars leave Hostels and reach home immediately. Further, the Students, Research Scholars, Teaching and Non-Teaching Staff Members are advised to stay at home, duly observing precautionary measures during the above period to Prevent and Contain Spread of COVID-19.

The Emergency Services i.e., Power House, Pump House, Security, Sanitary, Health and other essential services will function as usual, by taking necessary precautionary measures.

The Principles of the affiliated Colleges are also informed to follow the above instructions scrupulously.
